To pass the time…

Just a short one – while waiting for the ISMAR 2009 I recommend looking around at some work thats out there:

E.g. a new AR browser will hit the marketplace from Apple, allowing once more the overlay of wikipedia entries, cyclopedia. Nothing fancy new to see, though. But I hope that it will one day be as easy as this building a complete AR game, that uses accurate positioning by millimeters. :-)

Besides I enjoyed reading Tish’s article on Life, T-Immersion, anywhere computing and everything.

Meanwhile, Vuzix is bringing their HMD out more in form of a regular wearable entertainment device, we gotta wait longer.

And Blair MacIntyre dares a critical view on AR development, browsers and how things might continue.
